Now Hiring: Class III Fabricator – 2nd Shift (Albany, MO).

Location: Johnson Controls Inc., Albany Plant.
Shift: Friday – Sunday, 5:00 PM – 5:00 AM (3-day weekend shift).
Pay: $21.15/hour + $1.00 shift differential + 11% pay increase.
Job Type: Full-Time | Fabrication | Manufacturing.

About the Role:

Are you detail-oriented and mechanically inclined? Join our Albany Plant team as a Class III Fabricator and help build custom, high-quality commercial air handlers from sheet metal. You’ll work with precision tools and advanced fabrication equipment in a clean, safety-focused environment.

What You’ll Do:

• Read and interpret shop and piece part drawings.
• Follow routing sheets to complete tasks in sequence.
• Use a tape measure (1/32" accuracy) and protractor for precision.
• Operate fabrication equipment: press brakes, lasers, EMKs.
• Install components with proper fit and alignment.
• Perform preventive maintenance and minor machine repairs.
• Adhere to production schedules and safety standards.

What You Bring:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and routing sheets.
• Proficiency with precision measuring tools.
• Experience with press brake, laser cutting, or EMK machinery.
• Prior experience in a fabrication or industrial setting preferred.
