🌟 We're Hiring: Powder Coater! 🌟

We are seeking an experienced  Powder Coaters for our sheet metal manufacturing plant. We operate an Automated Powder Coating System daily, as well as a batch system as needed. Experience is required applying powder coating finish in automated or batch electrostatic powder coating line.

📍 Location: Newport News, United States
⏰ Work Mode: Work From Office
💼 Role: Powder Coater

What You'll Do:

• Apply powder coating finish to metal parts in an automated and/or manual electrostatic powder coating booth.
• Produce the maximum number of coated parts in minimum time by working efficiently.
• Use correct powder per customer specification – ability to read basic blueprint is helpful.
• Monitor quality during production.
• Keep production records. Daily record of parts, colors used, maintenance performed, and any problems occurring and addressed.
• Maintain equipment by troubleshooting malfunctions; complete preventive maintenance requirements and schedules.
• Follow company procedures and safety rules.

What We're Looking For:

To be considered, Applicants for this position must:

• have a complete working knowledge of proper powder spraying techniques;
• be able to communicate effectively with supervisors, coworkers, and vendors as needed;
• be able to lift up to 50 lbs;
• have Corrected 20/20 vision, be able to identify color and texture;
• be able to stand, walk, sit, bend, twist, squat, reach and perform repetitive hand and finger movements;
• be able to work in cold or hot temperatures in plant;
• be able to pass general, physical, and respirator medical evaluation.
