About the Role:

We’re looking for a creative and driven Social Media Intern to help amplify Authentica’s mission across platforms like Instagram, LinkedIn, and TikTok. This is your chance to shape the voice of a bold brand that’s changing how students experience the world. You’ll work alongside the Authentica team to build and execute our content strategy, elevate our brand, and engage Gen Z audiences through compelling storytelling.

What You’ll Do:

· Create and schedule content for Instagram, TikTok, and LinkedIn that’s engaging, on-brand, and strategically aligned

· Develop and maintain a content calendar across channels

· Collaborate with the marketing and enrollment teams to feature stories, sustainability initiatives, and student voices

· Use Canva and other tools to create graphics, reels, and story content

· Monitor engagement and recommend ideas to grow reach and impact

· Jump into trends and platform updates to keep our content fresh and relevant

Who You Are:

· A bold, curious, and socially-conscious communicator who cares about education, travel, and sustainability

· Obsessed with TikTok/Instagram and knows how to make content that clicks

· Self-starter who’s comfortable working independently and managing time

· Skilled with content creation tools like Canva, CapCut, Later, or similar

A student or recent grad in marketing, communications, media, international education, or related fields

Requirements

  • Interest in global learning, sustainability, social impact, or study abroad is a major plus
  • Strong understanding of social media platforms, especially Instagram, TikTok, and LinkedIn
  • Solid writing skills with a sharp eye for tone, grammar, and storytelling
  • Basic graphic or video editing skills (e.g., Canva, CapCut, InShot, or similar tools)
  • Comfort on camera and/or interest in developing short-form video content
  • Ability to track social media performance and interpret engagement metrics
  • Organized, self-motivated, and able to meet deadlines independently
  • A creative mindset with an eye for aesthetics, trends, and what makes people stop scrolling
  • Bonus: Experience managing a personal or campus organization’s social media accounts
